In Memory Of Robert C. “Bob” Keeney

It is with deep sympathy that we acknowledge the passing of Robert C. “Bob” Keeney of Lititz on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Bob joined Walz Group in the fall of 2002 and became the firm’s eighth partner on January 1, 2004, a position he held until his retirement in August 2013. A graduate of Salem College (now University) in West Virginia, Bob held not only a CPA license but also a designation as a CVA (certified valuation analyst) and ABV (accredited in business valuations). Bob’s specialization in employee benefit plan audits allowed the firm to add that service to its array of business offerings to continue to grow with the businesses we serve. Bob’s gentle spirit and easy demeanor endeared him to clients and co-workers alike, and he continued to make annual visits to the office through 2023. We share our condolences with Bob’s wife Gale and the rest of his family.
